If you are reading this blog post then chances are high that you love makeup and already know all about Jaclyn Hill and her amazing collab with Becca Cosmetics to create Champagne Pop. But just in case you don't know much about either of those things- Jaclyn Hill is a famous Youtuber beauty guru (you can watch her videos here) and Champagne Pop is a beautiful shimmery powder highlight that looks good on all skin tones. It is exclusively sold by Sephora and was initially limited edition but sold out instantly and then recently became a permanent fixture in the Becca family.

Champagne Pop became so successful that Jaclyn Hill has collaborated with Becca again to create the gloriousness that is called the Champagne Collection Face Palette. She has been hinting at a new product in the works for a while so I made sure to stay on top of any sneaky announcements that she might make through her social media. I have been following her on Snapchat (her username is jaclynrhill) and was watching her celebrate the launch of the Champagne Glow Collection in NYC when all of a sudden she announced that there was a secret presale on the app so her snapchat fam could purchase the palette before the official launch date!!! I immediately told my husband about it and was conflicted about getting it or not because we have been trying to save money for our vacation in August. He told me I should definitely hurry up and get it so I frantically downloaded the app, tried to remember my username and password, added it to my cart, and entered in all of my shipping and billing information. This seemed to take FOREVER and I was sure it was going to be sold out by the time I hit finished but by the grace of God, I was able to get it!

I impatiently waited 3 days for it to come in the mail and my first thought when I took it out of the box was "OH MY GOODNESS, THIS THING IS GORGEOUS!" I definitely don't regret paying the $52 price tag and I'm so glad I didn't hesitate any longer on buying it because the presale sold out in a few hours when it was expected to last 24 hours.

The packaging is very sturdy and high quality. I love the white and gold! I don't think I'll have to be overly cautious when traveling long distance with it but it isn't something I'd keep in my purse. The mirror is a very good size and takes up all of the top lid space.

The official launch date and time for the Champagne Collection Face Palette is tomorrow, May 26th at 12pm Eastern Standard Time on the Sephora website (link here) but I would keep checking a couple hours beforehand just in case.

I didn't know this until almost finishing this post but apparently there are other products in the Champagne Collection launch!!! (I guess the face palette stole all of the attention because I only found out about it from watching her Snapchat story...again.) It will include an eyeshadow palette (link here) and Champagne Pop shimmering skin perfector in a liquid (link here) and poured créme (link here)! The whole collection can be viewed at once with this link here.

I hope this post helps you to make your final decision on if you want it or not! I also hope that you are successful in actually purchasing it if you decide you do want it (Remember- DO NOT HESITATE)! May the odds be ever in your favor!

Just in case you don't already know what Birchbox is: For just $10 a month, Birchbox delivers high-end beauty, grooming, and lifestyle samples once a month, customized just for you.
Every month, you'll receive a box filled with 4-5 samples from up-and-coming and well known brands. Each delivery will include a mix of categories. Samples are generously sized, with enough product to allow you to figure out if they're right for you. Sign up here to get 50 Birchbox points (For every 100 points you earn, you get $10 off a full-size product order) and start receiving samples every month!

The theme for this month's Birchbox has less to do with beauty products and focuses more on the act of GIVING. We often get lost in the craziness of holidays and forget to spend time being thankful for being able to experience the craziness. While we are busy planning out a Thanksgiving feast or stressing out about buying gifts that no one really needs, it would be nice to find a way to help others who don't have the luxury of experiencing these first world problems. So in the spirit of giving back, Birchbox has partnered with (RED) to raise money and awareness for the global fight against AIDS by donating $15,000 plus $1 each time someone shares the facts of their Birchbox with #shaRED on Instagram or Twitter. With this act, hopefully Birchbox has inspired others to find their own way to give back to their community.

Moving on to the products that I received this month... I was pleasantly surprised! The last couple of Birchboxes have not impressed me but this one has. I've already used (or eaten) every product at least once within the first few days of receiving my Birchbox (which I admit is pretty rare)! Keep reading for details of each item.
